Description This is the summer of 2005 (Sage ten, me still only 19)
I wish I could get better pictures up but my scanner is dead and buried back in the States and I've only got a few old ones stored on my computer.

In short, even though it may be corny and crazy, this horse is like the love of my life. I've had him since he was five (now 12) and has been pretty much the only constant in my life.

In this picture we've just won our first class in our first Quarter Horse show where we one circuit champion for our division. I didn't know it was that uncommon until after the fact (In QH shows you have two judges and if you manage to win champion under both judge's card you win circuit champion and I was the only one at the show to achieve it)

I usually show in a different type of show, USAE Hunter/Jumper, so the QH was a nice change of pace and although we do well in the hunter ring it was nice to have my horse admired for the amazing horse he is. I usually get comments on him in at horse shows (he is a looker) but this was something above and beyond.

Sage’s registered American Quarter Horse Association name (unchangeable once registered) is Bright Jaydee and it reflects his lineage. However because that isn’t considered a ‘hunter’ name I registered him under a different name with the USAE.
Betcha can’t guess what it is ~_^
