Description I shudder when I look at this picture because of my awful, awful position. Ughhh, I'm practically jumping up his neck. Also crappy picture quality cause its a picture of a picture.

This is my first pony Jacob in our last year of showing and yes he's a pony (14.1 and 3/4 hands makes him a pony!)

This guy took me from WTC crossrails to 2'6" and despite the fact that he almost always had his ears back we won many a hunter undersaddle and hunter over fences classes. I don't know why he put his ears back but he'd done it for as long as anyone could remember and I was his second owner he'd had at the farm.

If you look really close, about 3/4 the way up his neck you'll see white stripes. People in the horse world know that if you don't properly take care of a cut/scab (aka pick the dead skin off periodically- know it doesn't sound sanitary but its true) white hair grows in its place. Long before I had Jacob he'd been found chained by his neck to a cinder block in someone's front yard and those are the resulting scars. Pretty sad story but he's lived a wonderful life of spoiled pony comfort since.
