Description
Optical MixtureGeorge Seurat, a French colorist, is among the first ones to systematically study colors and the first one to create Divisionism or what we used to call today Pointilism. He found out human eyes can optically mix colors together, meaning human tends to see the bic picture rather than focusing on the little details. By putting a lot of small dots of color next to each other, George let the viewers mix those colors together themselves. The viewers take part in the decoding process of a painting rather than just passively look at whatever there in the painting like the traditional way.
Conan re-paint this piece based on a picture my mom sent me from VN using pointilism technique. It's acrylic painting on paper.
