The Cult of Xevroc
While traveling on my journeys, one of the more interesting people I interacted with was a group of individuals in a cult worshipping this so called “God” who they have taken to calling Xevroc. Upon asking these men how they knew, what I can only describe to you as a monster’s name, the leader of the group spoke up saying he had visions of this monster speaking its name to him, telling him that unfathomable harm would befall their village if the Xevroc was not worshipped and offered sacrifices.
However, I am far too familiar with what is actually happening here. It is nothing more than a group of thugs taking advantage of the growing monster problem by explaining it as a god to the townsfolk. All the while living in the pleasures of the gifts that are being offered to “Xevroc.”
