Description
Máximo Tacaño, was the replacement for the character of Don Jaicobo. He is a businessman and usurious lender, he usually appears very well dressed, his only concern is to earn as much money as possible and save as much as possible, regardless of the hardships he may experience with his wife and son. His actions cause laughter since the situations he generates are most ridiculous. As an example is the story in which Condorito dies in an accident, owing money to Máximo Tacaño, then he, not resigning himself to losing the money, commits suicide to follow him to heaven and collect the debt.
