Shriek hasn't asked for her name yet. He took a quick glance at his partner, and Shriek looked frustrated and ready to dive into this fuzzball.
"This better be worth it, Velvet,' he growled,
"Haha! I assure you I know what I'm doing! See?" she pointed towards a long, purple tube sticking out in the mud. "Humans call that a toobe "
Shriek narrowed his eyes before snorting, "sounds dumb."
"The toobe sucks up water and puts it somewhere else! And I'm taking you to that somewhere else!"
It seemed reasonable. And it looked like shriek was as convinced as he was. But something about this common rubbed him the wrong way... her confidence, how eager she was to lead them to the water in a tense time like this...
