My tabletop gaming group just started a new AD&D 2E campaign in Greyhawk using the 1E Greyhawk Adventures hardcover 0-level character creation rues. Andre is the team 1/2 ogre, using the humanoid handbook his only class options are Fighter and Cleric but he can be a fighter/cleric just with severe limits on his cleric levels (the original 2E listing gave them the option to be thieves, but that was left out of the humanoid handbook, hit points were also lowered a bit and the listing for infravision was left off).

As a 0-level he hasn't made the final decision on his class yet, though he is leaning to do the multiclass. He started with a staff, a sling, and some cash but his cash was stolen and he broke the sling during a combat.
