You have a lot of blank space in the upper right hand corner that needs to be filled. Great job of using the edges of the character to draw the eye to the mark on the they. You can really see this when following the lines of the neck down to the clock and down to the mark. The scrolls are well done. I think your shadows are a bit off. The candle on the right side would have illuminated at least some of his body.
