When and how did you get started in Cosplay? I got into cosplay in 2004 when I didn’t know what it was, then in 2011 I went to my first con and had a ton of fun!
What was your first Cosplay? I had a Tokyo Mew Mew Ichigo costume, and Temari from Naruto.
What was the most difficult character? Probably Ymir from Queen’s blade. A did a lot of things I never done before such as the wig styling, a giant prop, armor. Everything is made from scratch.
What characters are you planning and type of character are you drawn to? I’m planning, and started on Morrigan from DarkStalkers. I guess I’m drawn to characters who are outgoing, crazy, strong etc. I’m also drawn to their outfits!
What is your process when starting from the beginning with a new cosplay? Procrastinating? Haha, I just get references and figure out what materials I need, what I want to start on first and I just kinda keep going from there.
Are there any helpful hints in sewing, costume design or any other aspects of your cosplay that you discovered in doing your creations? Oh yeah so many! It’s helpful to talk to others who sew or even check out tutorials because sometimes I overthink stuff, or I’m able to combine my ideas with things I’ve found.
Do you have a preferred brand of makeup in your cosplay? And if so why? Not really, just what works for me, and I try to stay cruelty free!
What are you listening to? Nothing right now!
Favorite Movies? Princess Mononoke, Detective Pikachu, Maleficent
Favorite Animes? Yu Yu Hakusho, Sailor Moon, Full Metal Alchemist,
Favorite TV Shows? Supernatural, Dexter, iZombie
Is there a scene from an anime, cartoon, movie or tv show that left a big impression on you and what was it? There are a lot I guess? Lots of shows have different things that leave impressions on me and let me think about them. Different characters I can relate to, and how situations are handled. There are so many inspiring things that I can’t always think of them all. One I know of is Raven from Teen Titans, how she has to handle her emotions because her powers are based on them, she struggles but her friends who are family still love and care for her even if she is different. They all are different and they come together with strong bonds.
Books? I haven’t read too many in a while but I liked Warm Bodies a lot.
Games? Monster Hunter, Spyro, Guild Wars, to name a few
Beverage? Chocolate milk! Or even a strawberry banana smoothie!
Fast Food/ Junk Food of choice? It really depends on my mood for fast food and I really try to avoid it as much as I can, but McDonalds probably? As for junk food, I love gushers, fruit roll ups, etc, and chips and candy.
Candy bar? Charleston chew!
Favorite Breakfast cereal? Probably Reese's Puffs and Cap’n Crunch
Is there something not going on in the cosplay world that you would want to see or is there something you would want to change? I guess I just want people to have more fun with it!
What was your favorite toy growing up? I had many, I loved playing with my dinosaurs and dolls.
Who is your biggest character crush and why? Hiei, he was my first crush and I just have always loved him!
You enter a warehouse. There is little light, but you are able to find your way around. The sound of music draws you to a corner of the warehouse. There are FIVE GHOUL CLOWNS, playing a dancing video game. They have razor sharp teeth and scary weapons. Magic can not affect them; they sense your presence and turn facing you. They run to you to attack. Time to fight! What character would you want to be to defeat them and how would you handle the situation?
I guess Hiei, he’s fast and could kill them in an instant easily!
If you had to be chained with a character for one year, what would be the character and what would you do? Hiei, and make him fall in love with me? Haha I’m not sure.
You can have dinner with your favorite character. And at this dinner you may ask one question. Who would be the character and what would be your one question? Oh my, just one question? That’s tough, I’m actually not sure! >n<

What advice would you give to people getting started in Cosplay?
Have fun! If you plan to make your own stuff, it takes time to learn things, everyone starts somewhere and you want to enjoy your hobby.
