I think the winning thing about Meow is his personality; he's essentially the slob roomie of Space Dandy who's there for the free ride. I love how even his outfit design shows his laziness, like he wrapped a bedsheet around himself, stuck his feet in some crocs and said, "Yeah, good enough!"
