Description
So I just downloaded Justice League and Justice League Unlimited (the latter of which I am loving!!) and in a two parter I came across the future with Terry McGuiness as Batman. Fighting alongside him was Static Shock. This got me doodling again and before long I had this. I've never done dreadlocks before so it was very different for and I also made an attempt to incorporate as many African traits as possible such as wider nostrils. This is the first black character in my gallery so I'm very proud to add him and I will continue to make an attempt to add more.

Virgil was just your everyday teen until being exposed to a mutagen that gave him the power of electromagnetism. Through his power he can manipulate metal and blast streams of electromagnetic energy from his hands (doesn't sound to powerful but think about the iron in your blood, you'd be his little puppet.)

Recently, Dwayne McDuffie, a master storyteller of the DC Universe passed. Static Shock was one of the many projects he worked on. This work is done in his memory.
