Augmented Phase CannonBritannia sea Land cannon - central defense lineHeavy Land Cannon
This design was inspired by D-Day landing and the heavy coastal guns used by the Germans. I wanted my version to use very basic shapes and to be un-maned. The idea to was to make a box with a gun sticking out of it and to keep the design as flat as possible. The vents and the in-carves were to give the design a bit of an industrial look with scanners and targeting equipment on the top of the weapon.
The coastal battery's of Britannia were developed to keep any and all outsides out of the seas of Britannia. with the empire growing and old enemy's growing these weapons are to keep security and reduce man power that can be used elsewhere.
The cannon being the central section of the weapon had to be unique and interesting so instead of rounded cannon i went for a square cannon, this makes the design more futuristic and feels like a un-maned weapon.
