In the forests and Marshes of Arlov, in the steppe and mountains of Vilkas, one can find death easily. Disease, Famine, War, Beast and Men can all lead to ones untimely, terrible Death.

However, they tell of a spirit - a pale lady with a sad yet compassionate look in her eyes, who would handle a final mercy to all who are dying on her plains - a quick death, and a grave for his spirit to rest. In the plains it is the ultimate mercy one can do with those who parted - a proper burial to lay their soul to rest, and when no one is around to do it, one can still hope the Lady of the Black Mercy is around.

The lady of the Black Mercy is, for all intents and purposes, the Grim Reaper of the north-eastern Horselordships. she is revered as an unsettling, yet still kindhearted spirit, that helps end the suffering of those who can't bear it anymore.
