Toooootally on an AGATB roll lately. Janet just finished reading Rebel Angels, so those books have been a major topic of conversation.Gemma and her friends try to get information out of Brigid, the housekeeper, by giving her tea and making her feel special. So, the picture is Gemma getting/offering tea to Brigid.
I love how Brigid talks about herself in third person.
"'Oooh, this wants sugar...,' Brigid says, holding out her teacup like a queen. She's taking us for all we're worth but she as information we need so I'm back with the sugar bown and we wait till she has stirred two lumps in."

This is great... My friend told me that AGATB was really good, so I borrowed it from her. I wasn't expecting to absolutely love it, but now I'm going to attack said friend when I see her next.
