Eva takes up her daily place at the Freak-show entrance as tickets for the show go on-sale. Through the glass, she can hear the charismatic hawker beckoning the crowd to come closer and marvel at the amazing snake lady. He warns the crowd not to get too close to the Boa Contorter, "For if she gets a crush on you, you really will get crushed!" It seems quieter today, and Eva knows she may be stuck in her display case for quite a while until the hawker gets the numbers they need. The hawker teases her by placing his soda can in front of her knowing full well she gets quite hot in there. He winks at her through the glass as she repays him with a glance of daggers through her reptilian contact lenses. Despite this, she can't help but like him.
