Description
This is a very appropriate piece, I've had a lot to scream about. I started it months ago, with a great life, and I finish it now, when everything is different. Everything changes, despite my best efforts. On the upside I have a lot of time to alone to myself, to draw and whatever.

I do remember this photograph, but forget who did it.
It was someone I watched I'm sure of it because this
image was such a strong piece, I don't think I could
forget. When I first saw the feature, I thought, cool,
that photograph from ages ago is featured. But then
I saw ~control and realized it would have to be
pencils.
I love it, and regardless of whether or not the piece
was here before, you still have a unique creation.
Art references happen all the time.
I did one of Balthus years ago - I didn't call him up
at his Spanish estate and tell him I've used it. There
is a lot more freedom with traditional artists and the
idea of ripping. Some people just have to realise
that a reference is a reference in a painting - not a
copy. (However, there are plenty of copies out there -
most of which don't get noticed by the public eye - but since
this was featured as a DD and is at an art site like DeviantART,
there will be hundreds of complains, whines, and general
displeasures that it, and not their work, has been featured.)

Someone did point it out and gave me a link to the original.
I have asked the original artist for permission am awaiting
a response. I placed it in storage until then.
I can't believe I thought it was a stock photo, I never would've
drawn it if it wasn't, not just because of those people that you
mentioned, but also because I didn't have permission and it
does feel like stealing, no matter how challenging it was to draw.
Anyways, I'm glad you liked it. I think I'll move on to painting,
digital for now, but traditional when I get to borrow my brother's
supplies in the summer. Thanks again for your words.

Holy shit! This is a drawing? You obviously put a lot of time and hard work into this one because it shows. I can't really tell that this is a drawing unless I concentrate on it and look really close. You proportions are right on... and the amount of detail is amazing!
