Severe cases of OCD can cause people to wash their hands until they bleed.

People with OCD don't just clean or do stuff obsessively and compulsively because they want to, they do it because they feel if the don't something horrible with happen to them or their family if they don't.

Even on their medicine people with OCD can still have some of their symptoms show, some one I know with OCD hates going to places with a lot of people because it makes her feel contaminated, she also trys to avoid odd numbers when ever she can, all while still being on her medicine.
