One night in Tokyo, Japan, the city was in chaos. An extraterrestrial fleet of robots calling themselves the Cybermen were invading the country, killing and capturing civilians, abducting them onto their ships. Sakura Kobayashi, a teenage school girl, ran panically through the streets. She was frightened as to the fates of her school friends and worried about the safety of her loving parents. Sakura snuck through alleys, attempting to evade the hulking steel men and get back home, however at one fateful moment, she turned the corner and was grabbed by the cold hands of a Cyberman

The Cyberman clutched her tightly and spoke, blue lights glowing from it’s mouth as it spoke “Human Female, suitable for upgrading.” Sakura squirmed and screamed as the robot took her back to the fleet. The Cyberman carried her through the halls of the ship as Sakura continued her attempt at escape as her life began to flash before her eyes. She was brought to a moderately sized room filled with strange alcoves. Sakura noticed some of her classmates stationed in these alcoves, the body parts being amputated, replaced by silver and plastic. The girl began to understand: these Cybermen she feared were once humanoid in some sense and wished to change all to be like them. Sakura attempted to resist as her captor shoved her into one of those very same alcoves, with cuffs restricting her as a long wire with a spike at the end pierces the back of her head. Sakura closed her eyes as she began to relax, all sense of pain being removed as she unknowingly had her emotions stripped away. The machinery got to work, replacing her organs with plastic insulators and her limbs with cybernetic replacements. Inside her mind, the cyber-programming was implanted as Sakura now began to understand. She was now a uniform Cyberman and her mission was to convert the world into being like her, and she would do whatever it took to accomplish that goal.
