Backstory: Swift Victory was born in Cloudsdale, to his Mother and Father, who are both formor WonderBolts, His father stopped/retired due to a wing injury and his mother stopped due to the fact that she couldn't fly with him anymore. After a couple more years his family moved to Las Pegueses, his family didn't really have a lot of money after moving all their stuff, and his father started beting money on peguses races, which rarely ever worked out. He started beting on more lesser know races. Most of them are at night, which Swift always thought would be a little hazardous to the racers if they arn't able to see a foot in front of them. He Never really thought to much about it, his father one time even invited him to watch a few with him. Although every time he went with him, his father always was suggesting that he should enter, and every time he would refuse his father would start trying to hype him up, by telling him and others stuff like " Swift you are faster than any Peguses I know", " My boy here is the fastest flyer in all of Equestria" and " Swift could beat any of those new WonderBolts easily" Swift knows his father is just trying to impress others by doing this ans Swift finds it embarassing and annoying since he barely ever races. One day his father entered him in one of the smaller races which Swift didn't really have a problem with, He did end racing and broke the record for the track, which surpirsed him to say the least, his father was estatic and pretty happy, and he got his cutie mark doing that race. For a while Swift was pretty happy about winning too and was really was enjoying the happy feeling he got when his cutie mark, he never would have gotten it if his father haddn't entered him in the race. Then a couple weeks later, a few more races and wins, Swift found at his father was betting on him, He didn't really know how he felt about it at first, but since he realized that since he wasn't an adult all the money that he would have won from the race went straight to his father who was also getting money from the beting. He felt a litte like he was being used and now is just trying to race for fun and do it without his father knowing.
