This is the Kanzagon species.

A bit of information:
The Kanzagon ears represent their age, when they are a newborn their ears are almost invisible and unable to move them, this also happens at a old age, the ears become too heavy to move, it is very rare to see them move once the length is touching the ground.
If a Kanzagon is born with markings it means they are able to use magic, it is possible for a Kanzagon to use magic without being born with it, but the only problem is that they have to go to a certain cave, that only one Kanzagon has ever come back from. When a magic user is using their magic their markings glow brightly.
Kanzagon cubs are to stay with the parents at all times till they are 1 year old, they are usually very curious about their surroundings and want to explore once away from their parents. When they are in their teenage years they are more adventurous, the more adventurous they are the wiser they are when adults.
