Description
I took a bit of time to find all of the OCs I have ever made, or included officially into the SMPCverse. For those who don't know, SMPC stands for Squid's Martial Prowess Company and it is a boxing, wrestling and MMA company in the style of WWE, with a bit more weight toward non-staged and also sexy fights. The characters Emiko and Izanami were designed and are owned by YoungTrigga95 , while the characters Cheonsa, Franziska and Ysabel also belong to Trig but were designed by me. These characters are in the SMPCverse.
The first draft of this was incredibly complicated, so I remade it and also removed as many redudant arrows as neccessary. I color coded the arrows and added a legend, but I will need to explain the arrows a bit more for it to be completely clear.
Official Alliance: The deep blue arrows show that these characters are allied, and are obliged by the alliance to help each other in times of need. Doing so will breach the agreement of their alliance and will basically cause them to become an enemy. Imagine WW1 where all the countries started declaring war because they had all sorts of alliances. Its the same idea on a much smaller scale. And for simplicities sake, I removed certain redundant arrows. If a character is friends with one character, then they are also friends with all of their allies, unless stated otherwise.
Superior: The orange arrow indicates that one character is a superior or a commanding officer over the other. For redudancy's sake, I didn't draw orange arrows from Rania to everyone else. Rania runs SMPC and is so everyone's boss. This led to the only arrows going from Tezil to Maverick, and from him to Franziska and Marceline. This signifies that these characters have set up their own command structure within SMPC. An orange arrow of course indicates that the characters working together, if not neccessarily allied or friendly.
Friends: Light blue arrows show friendship amongst characters. Friendship means that they will usually help each other but are not required too. Friendship can also lead to conflicts within command and alliance structures, and can also end hostilies. For example, the two Alliances on the very bottom (One led by Betty, Carly and Rebekah, the other by Cheonsa and Lapis) are friendly to each other, indicated by the light blue arrow, and so are liklier to work together than with other alliances.
Lovers / Family: Basically the same as Friendly only that blood is thicker than water. this is a bond that can never be broken, even if hostilaty were to break out between the two.
Distrust: The lighter pink is a weaker version of hostile / rivalry. The characters may work together if contractually obliged but will also take pleasure in each others failures, and may sabotage them in order to gain their own power.
Hate, hostility, rivalry: These are the drives of many fights in SMPC. Friendly matches always take place between any possible character, as decided by Rania. But the hostilities between the different alliances lead to matches that are firey and rowdy. When rivaled characters fight, their allies will attempt to cheat or otherwise get advantages, for each win gives the alliance bonuses (Prize money, recognition, etc)
Tutor: Green indicates a tutor / student, senior / junior type of relationship. The senior is usually older, more experianced and generally a better fighter while the junior is generally younger, hot headed, more agile. There are times when a student exceeds their master and becomes independant in either a happy scene of victory, or through a brutal personal revolution against their master. There is no rule as to how Seniors treat their Juniors, nor as to how many they can have. But it is in the Seniors interest to get the student to become a strong and loyal member of their alliance once they reach independance.
A final note is the Rania vs Tezil thing. Why would Rania employ Tezil if she hates her?
The reason is a bit obscure, and isnt clear. Even if Tezil stays in the shadows and uses Maverick as her representation, rarely showing herself - and when she does, its with an impressive display of power - she still recieves a paycheck and prize money. Perhaps Rania is aware that, even if she hates Tezil, the mysterious villian makes SMPC more interesting to its audiences? Or is the reason deeper?
I plan to in future update this, adding names to the characters as well as the alliances, and also adding more characters in places where I feel like there isnt much going on, as well as a "generation" thing where different fighters are part of a "generation" or group. For example, Ysabel, Marceline and Nina are in the SMPC Gamers group, where they livestream either solo or together, doing gaming challenges that lead to punishments for losers, etc.
