Description
He didn't trip over him; they wanted to play soccer but they didn't have a ball
I drew this back in March and had intended to post it before April but unfortunately that didn't happen
This happens during their childhood, shortly after ForeignVoid went Nega, and causes Strong Bad's counterpart to do the same. The interaction goes a little something... like-a dis-a.
ForeignVoid hit the ground with a hiss, shaking his head as he got to his knees, spitting dirt from his mouth. This is why I HATE running...
Looking back, he spotted a young boy about his age, not even acknowledging that he had just been tripped over. He had a mask for a face and boxing gloves for hands. He seemed to sink into the ground, as though he hadn't moved from that spot in years. The kid also seemed tough... that could be useful. Besides, if he was planning to prepare himself to get over that fence, he might need some backup... Not to mention, since he spent all his time inside, he didn't exactly know anyone who could help... even HE'D been ignoring him since his decided change. Not like he cared. This guy looked reliable, at least; not someone to chicken out if things got rough. And it might be nice to have someone to talk to...
"...you wanna help me conquer my enemies and take over their territory?"
"...sure."
And then they become the best of friends.
Before going Nega, Strong Bad's opposite was always laying outside and staring up at the sky. There wasn't much to look at, but he enjoyed it, as much as someone who's always flat and expressionless can enjoy something. They only have clear days when it's raining on the other side of the border, and this is one of those rare times where the sky was a clear blue instead of a dusty brown. He's very honest. He has no interest in technology of any sort, and only battles in self-defence. When he's not staring at the sky, which he does every day for most of the day, he's eating, sleeping, or training. He likes situps the most, and does them when he's sky-gazing. He has a great enjoyment for the outdoors and is very non-confrontational. He's also very intelligent, and follows ForeignVoid in whatever he does. He goes by the name Stone Break, or Stone, Break, or NSB for short. He always carries a bazooka on him, and will only show his mouth to ForeignVoid and Strong Bad. His father is Nega Cardgage, but they haven't lived together since Nega Strong Sad was an infant. There's not much of a difference in Stone Break if you compare him before and after he went Nega, though his Nega version is a lot more active and a lot more cold and calculating. He's also a lot more no nonsense than he used to be, and won't go along with everything anymore unless it's Nega Homestar's idea.
While NSB has never known ForeignVoid as a non-Nega, they talk to each other a lot and are closer than brothers, and Nega Homestar will, on rare occasions, reminisce about the days before he went Nega. They know almost everything there is to know about one another, and will always have each other's backs (NSB moreso than FV, as FV is the one who's almost always getting into trouble).
I should make mention of this: Not all opposites are Negas, but all Negas are opposites. For example, Pom pom's opposite isn't a Nega. Therefore, if I end up calling him Nega Pom Pom, that is WRONG and I should be immediately smacked upside the head by a fish.
This has been your Fish Eye Lens with this important public service announcement.
