I wanted to paint a scene that really created the feeling of depth - the high flying birds, the floating harbor, and the sky beneath it are the layers I used to try to convey this. Hope you enjoy.Related content

This is truely beautiful! It definitly took my breath away. And I do agree with landivsren it would definitly make for a greath RPG. A steampunk RPG! I would so play that! XD

I thought it was a harbor above water but this is just better. It somewhat reminds me of Skyland, though this is more amazing. I love floating islands and this rocks.
You did a good job of creating depth here and the ships and city are nicely detailed.

wow... thats all i can say... wow... being a person who watches a lot of cartoons this reminds me of the air temple which the fire nations attacked in the cartoon avatar...
and if it means anything to you this work also reminds me of miyazaki's stuff... inspirational.. beautiful and mesmerizing.
although it reminds me of that stuff however, this piece stands out by itself.. the most well deserved DD from todays features.

Have you played Skies of Arcadia?
It reminds me of it..
Skies of Arcadia is an awesome RPG, quite old but graphic is not bad and the story and gameplay is fun and just awesome 
And the Picture is very well done, everything is suiting. You're combining things we know to a complete abstract structure
