Description
In the aftermath of German-soviet invasion of Poland, Germany had many used tanks and tank concepts destroyed, abandoned or left behind by the polish. In Late December 1939, the Germans came across blueprints and a completed chassis of the 25TP Habicha medium tank design. The Germans tested the Habicha chassis at one of their testing sites and found the chassis to be very reliable. So the Germans started a tank design competition which will utilize the 25TP chassis, the VK 28,by Krupp, was one of the 2 designs accepted for prototype testing but never went into production. Only 2 prototypes were ever produced.
