- I have been pretty busy working on things for school lately so I haven't been able to do many drawings 'for fun', but I did manage to finish this one up tonight
. I watched Tekkon Kinkreet week or two ago for the first time and it was completely awesome, imo. The backgrounds and everything about it visually are just amazing. You really should try and get your hands on it if you can sometime and watch it! - This is a drawing of one of the characters from the movie, the background was drawn from official art of the movie, I drew this out in pencil and then colored it in Photoshop.

whoah, this looks so cool! I love the colors you used, they stand out so nicely despite (or maybe because) of their flatness, which creates such a clean and refreshing contrast suiting the character/mood. the perspective and swirls and shapes are just so engaging! wonderful piece.

Huzzah! I knew it the minute I read the title! ^_^
Just watched the movie last weekend and indeed it is amazing! Black was definitely my favorite (and therefore his creepy alter-ego), but I also think Rat was a unique character as well...hell they're all pretty unique! The icing on the cake was definitely the AKFG end credit song, "Town in Blue". I frickin' love them!
So yeah, enough rambling. You definitely captured the style and feel of the movie and I really like that. Do you think you'll do any more Tekkonkinkreet art? I hope so. :3
