Description
ExactlyUnlike popular belief, I was NOT a morning person. I hated dragging myself out of bed just to go see someone that twists and plays with my heart. Why should I? School...and I couldn't just skip out on school. I'll just wear my yellow tank and white skinny jeans and call it a day. She hated yellow. Maybe that alone will get her to leave me alone.
"Tor! You're going to be late!" Trina called from downstairs. I groaned.
Another car ride with Trina. I hated riding in a car with her, and the only reason I'd agreed to car pool with her again was because the rest of my friends were honestly no better. She did promise to never make me shave her anymore. That's a plus, right?
I ran downstairs, skipped out on breakfast, and hopped into the car. Maybe she wouldn't even be there today. My idea was shot once I stepped into the Asphalt Cafe.
"VEGA!" the familiar voice shouted that made my heart twist and turn and my stomach vomit. Jade West was definately at school today.
"What do you want, Jade?" I asked her in the most sweet yet sarcastically toned voice I could find.
"I WANT everything that you love to die." She said, and laughed."I need to talk to you."
"No." I said, applying her logic to the conversation."You're appearently dead now."
I walked over to Beck leaving her standing there figuring out that I just indirectly told her that I loved her.
"Hey, how are you, chika?" Beck asked, and I sat down next to him, smiling.
"Good, great even." I said sarcastically, and he laughed.
"I hope you do better...I mean c'mon Tori, it's not even noon." Beck said, and Jade walked over to us. She yanked on my wrist and pulled me into the empty hallway. We were standing in front of her black-scizzored locker.
"You just indirectly said you loved me." Jade said, and I rolled my eyes.
"Yes Jade," I lied," I love ALL of my friends."
"No...with us it's different. We're supposed to absolutely HATE each other." She said.
"Exactly." I nodded.
"That's why you wore yellow today." Jade commented, noticing I wore the color she hated. I grinned.
"PANTIES." I said, and then laughed,"yeah, you hit the nail on the head."
"Yellow looks good on you," Jade said out of the blue,"and when you say panties, it doesn't freak me out."
My mouth fell open into a little 'o' shape. What?
"What happend to enemies?" I asked as she took a step closer to me, and I blushed.
"Huh?" she asked, and kissed my neck lightly.
"What, did you just throw everything out the window?" I asked her, her sudden mood change freaked me out. She backed away and smiled at me devilishly.
"Exactly."
