Description HP: Things She Taught Me
Chapter Four: Just a Dream?
Harry had already gone back to his classroom when he noticed he was needed at Hagrid's hut. A note had been left for him saying Hermione was there. That was all he needed to know.
He wrapped his cloak around his shoulders and made his way down to the edge of the forbidden forest.
"Hagrid, he...he just tore my marrige apart! No one will want me, I mean if Ronald Weasley is prone to cheating on me with Lavander... I just-" Hermione said crying. "Hagrid, whats wrong with me?" She cried even louder. There was a group of 5th years now coming twards the hut, drawn to the noise.
"Get going, the lot of you, or its a weeks' worth of detention! You know you're not supposed to be out at this hour!" Harry shouted at them.
"But Professor, its only seven!" One of them protested. It was Selma Diggory.
"You heard me! Get going!" Harry shouted back, and then stepped through the hut's door, slamming it closed so that when they were walking by they couldn't glance in at their wreck of a Transfiguration teacher.
"Hermione, Hermione, you know dat Ron's a bit... well, anywhey, I know just ter thing ter get ya. Here," He said, and handed Hermione a book called Ingrid's Wilde Run: A Biography of Ingrid Wilde, One of the Greatest Witches of All Time.
"Hermione, what you just said was a bucket-load of lies." Harry said.
"D-D-Don't t-talk to me, Harry!" She said loudly, and turned away from him.
If Harry had not ruined their lives, he had ruined his own. Now not only is the girl hes in love with and his best friend won't talk to him, Ron hates his guts right about now.
"No, Hermione, I will talk to you. I'll talk to you a billion times, even if you ignore me. Hermione, you're my best friend, you deserve someone who'll treat you better!" Harry shouted back, and the hut fell in silence. Hermione looked at him as if he had just slapped her in the face.
" 'Arry, don't jer raise your voice at poor 'Ermione!" Hagrid said back to him.
"Hagrid, you don't understand..." He started, but noticed that the door was open and Hermione was gone. "Hagrid, I love her." Harry said quietly, staring at the floor.
"Well, 'Arry I love her too, but I didn't yell at her!" He said back, but then noticed at how Harry was staring at the floor."You're in love wit tcher." Hagrid said, chuckling.
    "Whats so funny?" He asked.
"Nuthin' nuthin'! Alright you might wanna get back to the castle now. She won't be single for a while, mind you. 'Ermione's quite the catch." Hagrid said and smiled. Harry left the hut with newfound pride in himself. At least Hagrids on his side. Harry ran up the marble staircase to the Transfiguration classroom, wich was locked.
"Hermione, open up! I know you're in there!" He yelled.
"Harry, leave!" She shouted.
"If you don't open this door, I will!" He shouted again, and then after giving her plenty of time to respond, he pulled out his wand. "Alohamora!" He shouted, and the lock on the door busted. He pushed his way through.
"Hermione, you need help. Now. And I'll be the one to give it to you." He said, and moved tward her. She pulled out her wand and pointed it at him.
"What are you doing?" She asked him.
    "Confessing my love?" He asked.
"Vat is no option." A very heavilly accented voice said behind him. He remembered that voice, the voice of the Bulgarian Quidditch player, Viktor Krum.
         "You...love me Harry?" Hermione asked.
"What do you think the last two days worth of crap was?" Harry asked her.
"Harry...Harry...Harry... wake up Harry..." He heard up in the skies. It sounded like Hermione. But Hermione was right in front of him. And why would she be telling him to wake up?
"C'mon mate! Get up! Theres a quidditch match today! Teddys the seeker..." He heard Ron's voice.
"Jes, Get up Harry." Krum said suddenly, and Harry turned around. Krum had suddenly turned into Voldemort, and the flash of green light hit him before he could do anything about it...
Harry sat up in bed, drenched in cold sweat.
"Jeez mate, we thought you'd never wake up!" Ron exclaimed.
"What happend... the last thing I remember was... Viktor Krum...Voldemort..." Harry said looking down into his lap.
"You've been out for a week. At the last Quidditch Match, when Miles flew into the teachers' stand, you were standing on the edge. You fell out of the side, and landed on your back on the ground, knocking you out instantly. We've, Teddy too, have been up to see you every day now. Madam Pomfrey has just mended the broken bones in your back." Hermione explained.
"So, you don't hate me then, Ron?" He asked Ron sheepishly, his cheeks blushing.
"Of course not!" Ron said, but then got confused."Why would I?"
They spent the next 5 minutes laughing, and then the truth hit Harry.
Ron and Hermione do make a cute couple. But, he needed Hermione. The jealousy inside of him told him so.
