Description Chapter Five: The Love Potion
Harry put his head down on his desk. Not even five hours outside the hospital wing, and his chest ached. He wanted Hermione.
"Harry?" He heard a familiar voice outside his door, and knocking.
"Come in. Though in a few minutes, I have to leave. My son is in the quidditch match today." Harry said, and stood up.
"Its me, Cho." Said the petite voice, and the Ravenclaw entered the classroom.
Harry didn't remember Cho being this beautiful. What he did remember haunted him for the rest of his days, however, and the image of her causing such a huge scene like that...with the crying...sooo much crying, he tried to shadow her beauty in that image. He could not.
"What are you staring at?" She asked, and looked behind her, expecting someone, or something to be behind her.
"N-nothing. Alright, would you like to come with me? Its down at the Quidditch Pitch." Harry told her.
"Yes, Harry, I remember. I was Ravenclaw's seeker, remember?" She asked him, and he smiled.
Cho's hair was still the long, silky black he remembered, and her eyes were still the chocolatey brown he used to love gazing in as a 4th and 5th year student.
'Snap out of it!' Harry thought to himself,'She used to be soooo moody! And you love Hermione! ....Right?'
"So, how have you been?" She asked him, searching for something to talk about.
"I've been great. I've got a child, Teddy. I'm his godfather." Harry said, and looked over expectantly at Cho.
"Me? Oh letsee... Well, nothing much. Today I was actually going to visit the Three Broomsticks and the Hog's Head. I miss Hogsmeade." She sighed as they started walking up the stairs.
"Well, after the game, why don't we go there together?" He asked her.
"Alright, Harry!" Cho said excitedly, and they sat next to Ron and Hermione.
"Don't. Go. Anywhere. With. Her." Hermione whispered as they sat down. Cho didn't hear her.
       "Why not?" Harry asked her.
"She got some advice from Romilda Vane. Shes going to give you a love potion." She said, and Harry got an inhalence of her smell. She smelled of mint toothpaste and cherry blossoms. Must've been a new perfume...
"Now Lupin's going for something! Has he seen the snitch?" Announced Lesteria Lovegood. She was on Ravenclaw.
"So, Harry-" Cho started, but then the worst happend. A bludger hit Teddy as he reached for the snitch. He fell off his broom.
             "TEDDY!" Hermione and Harry screamed.
Teddy landed on his back, he fell about 6 feet, but he held out his hand.
"THE SNITCH! TEDDY LUPINS CAUGHT THE SNITCH! GRYFFINDOR WINS OVER HUFFLEPUFF WITH A SCORE OF 280 TO 70!" Lesteria Lovegood shouted over the intercom, and the Gryffindors cheered and clapped. Teddy was rushed to the hospital wing. Hermione grabbed Harry's hand and he felt swooping sensations in his stomach as they ran to the hospital wing.
Cho met up with them there, and Ron ended up there a little later.
"Harry, you look dehydrated. Here," Cho said, and Hermione shot him a glance.
"Really Cho, I'm fine thanks." Harry said, looking away from the pumpkin juice.
"Harry, really, its no problem." Cho said, pushing the pumpkin juice at him.
Professor Slughorn entered the room, and moved over to him.
"Harry m'boy! I was just getting rid of this love potion. I was wondering if you would like a smell before I do so." He said, making his way over. Harry drank the pumpkin juice. Ron said something about going to get a camera, aparently Hermione had told him about the supossed 'love potion' that the pumpkin juice was. Harry felt a swooping sensation in his stomach, and he went numb. All he could think about was Cho.
"Harry!" He heard Hermione scream, and he clutched his head.
'Cho, Cho, Cho, Cho, Marry Cho!' His voice inside his head screamed, and his heart started beating faster.
'No, He-' The voice started, and it changed to Cho.
But then Harry smelled the most amazing smell. He was hovering over the love potion Slughorn had brought in.
"Harry, what do you smell?" Cho asked arrogantly.
"I smell," Harry started. The voices inside his head were now screaming inside his head 'CHO' louder then ever.
His stomach felt red hot fury, like he was going to throw up. Cho smelled of Vanilla. That is not what he smelled. He smelled mint toothpaste and cherry blossoms.
"Mint toothpaste and cherry blossoms." Harry forced out of his mouth.
"WHAT?" Cho screamed. "THATS HERMIONE! NOT ME! YOU MUST BE JOKING! ROMILDA TOLD ME IT WOULD..." She broke down. "It worked on Cedric, why not you?!" She screeched. Madam Pomfrey ran her out of the room, and Harry ran out the other way, knocking into Ron on his way back in. Clutching his stomach, he kicked open his classroom door, and ran up to his room, to where his desk was. Sitting down, Slughorn apeared in the fireplace, and dusted himself off, took a little flask from his coat pocket and handed it to Harry.
"Take it. Your insides are on fire, aren't they? That love potion is used a lot, its the Love Me or Pain type. You fought against it. You must have very strong feelings for Hermione if you could still smell her after that potion." Slughorn said, and the door to his room opened. Slughorn vanished through the fireplace again, and Hermione walked in.
"Harry-" She started, and Harry couldn't take it any longer.
   "What?" He asked, anger rising.
"Harry, I want to tell you something that might alarm you..." She started.
    "What?" He asked, concerned.
"Harry, that potion... I smelled a mixture of Ron, and... you..." She said and turned away. Harry's stomach dropped.
                                Did that just happen?
