Description
Willing To Wait...Sailor Moon belongs to Naoko Takeuchi. This Fanfiction belongs to me.
Seiya Kou looked around. No one. Not even his brothers were here for him this time. Only she. Only she, with the bright, sparkling blue eyes. The cute, warm smile that had brought him to his knees, brought him to many similar situations, brought him to love this girl with the blonde hair.
Odango.
"Seiya..." She started, appauled that the Sailor Star Fighter, the person she had fallen in love with so long ago, was back. How did he find her? Why was he back? Mamoru tightened his grip on his briefcase.
Seiya's eyes darted from her to Mamoru. Why was she with him? Why had he come back?
"Usako. I'm going to wait in the car." Mamoru said, and with a nod in Seiya's direction, he went off, briskly walking to the car. He saw from the look in both of their eyes, they needed alone time. All he could think about was how he had been so stupid, not to have married her before he'd left. Then, she wouldn't've been having thoughts about Seiya Kou, the Starlight Singer who millions of girls everyday swoon over. He couldn't bare to think about it. The thought that Usako, HIS Usako, might be one of them.
"Seiya, why are you here?" Usagi asked, looking at Seiya, then to the sky. She couldn't look at him.
"I could ask the same thing of you. Why are YOU here, Odango? With HIM?" Seiya asked, and looked straight into Usagi Tsukino's eyes."I thought you loved me."
"Seiya, I love you, I love Yaten, Taiki, Ami, Rei, Minako, Makoto... and they all left me. Left me for roles, for jobs, for colleges..." Usagi said, sniffling. She was on the verge of tears.
"You know why I had to leave. It wasn't of my own will. I thought of you... Everyday. I turned many people down. I said, "I don't need these people. I've got a girl waiting for me at home." I thought you'd do that for me too." He said, and stared at her. He needed to cry too. He didn't, though.
"I never told you. I never told you that I loved you. That I was IN LOVE with you, Seiya!" Usagi yelled, clutching the broach that had turned her into Sailor Moon once apon a time. That time, all through high school, was like a fairytale, and she'd give anything to have it back. Being Sailor Moon, having Tuxedo Kamen, saving innocent lives with her Sailor Scouts. They'd all, left her. They were supposed to protect her, from anything. Where were they now? Her heart was now open to the daggering, hurting words that were going to be said, she knew. And she had no one else to turn to.
"But I could tell! I could feel it! And that one night, where we almost-" Seiya started.
"Don't say it!" Usagi shouted, and Seiya walked over to her, took her face in his hands.
"Kissed." He whispered, sending shivers down her spine, and leaned in to kiss her. A rose flew past them, through the small gap between their faces. Seiya saw that as romantic opportunity. Usagi tried to pull away, but Seiya pulled her in. And they stood there, kissing, for who knows how long. They both had their eyes closed, they were both so hooked onto it. They had been taken away from reality, taken away from the crying, the shouting, the frustraition in each other. All of those feelings replaced with love.
"Get off of her!" They heard Mamoru yell, and still felt the vibes when he tore them apart.
"I'd apreaciate it if you'd stay away from my fiance! We're getting married this weekend!" Mamoru shouted, and Seiya took defence.
"She didn't send me away. She didn't scream, she didn't hurt me. She wanted this too!" He yelled, ready to fight for this.
"Shes in a very emotional state right now! Her brothers in the hospital, her friends are gone, I'm the only one she has right now, so yeah, shes going to jump at the chance to kiss anyone, none-the-less THE Seiya Kou. So just get back on your stupid tour bus and leave. Go on, thats right." Mamoru yelled. Seiya looked at Usagi. She was holding her hand to her cheek. She looked at her hand.
Blood was dribbling from the cut the rose had made. The rose HER Mamoru had thrown. Rage was all Seiya could feel. He tapped Mamoru on the shoulder. As he turned around, Seiya threw a punch. It hit Mamoru right in the kisser, and Usagi screamed out. She turned on her heel, and started to run away. Little did she know that her protective squad was waiting for her...
