Visually, I love the concept, but I'm not sure I understand exactly what the cabbage is to you. The color palette gives a sad, melancholic vibe, and with the two pictures, I think your mind is sleeping/in a sort of coma, just waiting to be picked up/awaken to life and emotions. It's like the feeling you're talking about is that impression of being emotionally numb, and not knowing how to get out of this state, thus waiting for someone's help. I don't know if I'm even close, I've been pondering for quite a while.
