Description
Mosasaurus maximus is an apex predator, the largest carnivorous animal on Earth with a confirmed maximum length of 84.9 feet (although long-lived healthy animals can grow much larger). As an adult, it has no predators except for others of its own kind. As with any apex predator, its actions shape its environment. It is territorial, confronts and investigates intruders in its domain by surrounding them on the surface.

When confined to the Jurassic World's Lagoon, the mosasaur would have easily hunted any other animal within its environment. He preyed on other inhabitants of Isla Nublar, including Pteranodon and Indominus.
