Thanks! Well, to be honest, I don't really have a specific technique for creating real looking fur. I just kind of... look and draw. My best advice would be to keep practicing! Using reference photos while you're learning a new technique really helps as well--especially if you're going for realism.

thanks. my art teacher showed me how to make hair but to make fur seamed a lot more dificult and it didnt look to good eather o well i gess i keep trying. Thank you.

Unfortunately, the photo that I referenced is in an actual book I had about wolves. I'd scan it but I don't have a scanner (I use my parent's when I get the chance during a visit)... You could take a stab at finding it on the net, but I don't know if it'd be out there or not.
