I really don't see how it's a shock though, looking at the quality and all, you honestly did very well. A few features are just a small bit sharp but everything else is shaded well and, honestly, one can tell there was time taken in making this piece.

Actually that was the easiest part. I blockied in the darker areas with my stumps and fingers and then too my Pink Pearl eraser and removed lil dots and and dashes from the shaded areas to look like lil nicks and dents. Ran my fingers over the shaded areas and the erased areas to blend it a bit then did it again with the eraser. I then go back over the white areas with the pencil and darken the edges of some of the removed white areas to make the nicks look like a real dent. I do a lot of erasing...it kinda builds layers. Does any of that make sense??

Of course it makes sense! I use an eraser almost more than I use a pencil, so I totally see where you come from.
More than that, though, I'm stoked that you took the time to reply like you did--that officially makes you awesome, and I respect you a little more for it.

That's cool, I'm glad it made sense...I don't type as fast as I'd like and I talk way better than I type, so sometimes when I'm thinkin what I'm gonna say and by the time it gets to the computer, it's not exactaly what i meant to say. Wow, even that sounds weird, anyway, I'm glad u understood it all and thank you for the question!!! Also thanks for the "lil" respect...I need all I can get!

Sidenote. THIS. (as much as I hate to admit it, Loki fan that I am...) ... is an AMAZING piece of art. I love it. Everything about it...is..... I cannot even put it into words.
