Ooooh these guys are ooooold.
Way back in yonder days of 2008, I wanted to make a wolf comic a la Black Blood Alliance (It's not hard to tell what parts of BBA influenced my design lol)

Recently BBA has been rebooted (and I still love it), so I wanted to revisit my old wolf characters too! Their story will probably never be told, but it's fun to come back and redraw old characters.
Some family ties have been redone, too. Dragon (previously DragonFire) and Rin are siblings now, so are Bracken (Basil) and Bird (HummingBird). Ari was previously a boy named Narke, she went through the most dramatic change. Neska and Ari have the same mom but different dads. Ari's dad is Dragon and Rin's brother, making them blood cousins while Neska is an adopted cousin. Bracken and Bird have no immediate relation to the other four. What kind of wolves are they? Idk man they're impossible fantasy wolves.
They're all part of the same pack, I think. The story used to be a Romeo and Juliet thing with Neska and Rin being from rival packs, but idk if I even want them to be together anymore. It's too close to Kovu and Kiara from The Lion King 2, I guess.
I probably won't revisit the story very much outside of drawing them now and again. I miss my characters, though. Who knows, maybe they'll work their way into other stories somehow.
