Well, the Government told us that wearing a mask will prevent the Eldritch creatures from influencing us. Here we have "The Scientists" *tm taking notes on how to combat the False information being spread by the Old Ones. Note how they keep distance from each other as well, that way the influence won't be able to jump from 1 host to another so easily.
