- The Dead Ringer.

The "Dead Ringer" is an unlockable invis-watch for the Spy that can be obtained by unlocking the "Spy Milestone 3" achievement.

The stats for this specific invis-watch are:
- Cloak Type: Feign Death
Leave a fake corpse on taking damage and temporarily gain invisibility, speed and damage resistance.
+50% cloak regen rate.
+40% cloak duration.
-50% cloak meter when Feign Death is activated.
- No cloak meter from ammo boxes when invisible.
-35% cloak meter from ammo boxes.

According to the stats, the Dead Ringer will be able to feign your death by leaving a fake corpse behind via activated from a source of damage, while giving you temporary invisibility, speed, and damage resistance. The cloak's regen rate is increased by 50%, as well as providing a 40% longer cloak duration. However, the downsides are very critical; 50% of your cloak meter is used up when the Feign Death is activated, you get 35% less cloak meter back from ammo boxes, and you cannot pick up ammo boxes when you're invisible.

The Dead Ringer is one of the most powerful invis-watches that is available to the Spy's arsenal. Being able to feign death is something that many new players will be expecting.

Make sure that you have the Dead Ringer primed and ready at any given moment. This can be useful if you need to get somewhere safely or need to bait someone in. However, given that the cloak can only be activated via source of damage (Enemy gunfire, afterburn, etc.), using the Dead Ringer at the wrong time can be a waste and an obvious feign death.

Try and stay clear of Engineers with the Pomson 6000. Considering the fact that getting hit by this weapon will reduce a Medic's Übercharge and/or a Spy's Cloak Meter, this puts the Dead Ringer at a severe disadvantage. You may either have less time to run or not be able to feign your death at all.

I'd recommend primarily using the pocket watch in case of emergencies, whether you need to make an escape or there are too many players to take on at once.

If you have the Bombinomicon cosmetic with you, getting killed while you have the cosmetic equipped will result in a spectacular explosion. This will work with the Dead Ringer real well, making it harder to guess whether you're dead or not.

Final words: Use the Dead Ringer at the most utmost of emergencies. Do not have it out 99% of the time.
