Oh ho ho I'm a goober. Sorry Oda and Raimi, I mean no harm.Well, if you can't tell, this is a play off of that scene in Spiderman, except this is Sogeking (superhero alias of Usopp) and Nami from One Piece. I fully intended this for color, since I don't really think I can pull off what I want with pencil. But I don't know when I'll finish that - I'm very green with Photoshop still. So until then, there ya go. I also could not fit the whole thing in my scanner, so it's cropped off in wierd places. I may end up cropping the entire thing more anyway.

Haha, I was waiting for someone to make a comment like that. It's just a fact that Usopp has a really big mouth.
I really don't know how I'd color it without inking. I've tried coloring on the comp without inking before, and I've never liked the results.

Well, you COULD try out watercolors : M~...They typically don't smear the pencil : >~

I don't own any watercolors ;_; Nothing abnoxious about suggestions though, however, I already am almost finished coloring the picture now, in Photoshop. What I did was copy over the picture in pencil, and I did digitally ink part of it. It turned out pretty well. ^^

No, not really. It takes just as long to do real inking, depending on how practiced you are and how steady your hand is. It takes me a ridiculously long time because I just suck at it.

Nami's soft expression adds a beautiful serene touch to the piece.
Usopp... Wow! Words cannot convey the love I have for you right now for how you drew him!
I think you should leave it penciled as well. It adds a nice soft, natural effect to the drawing that might be lost if it were to be inked.
The shading is superb, and I think I'm in love with the way you detailed Nami's hair! Awesome job!

Like I said in my AP thread, I'm not gonna ink OVER the pencils, I'll put it on a new piece of paper first. So if my inking/coloring isn't successful, the pencil is still there. ^_^ The piece of paper with the pencils unfortunately got messed up a lot too; I cleaned it up digitally but I've never had so much bad luck with junk getting on it. ;_;
