Key Pie and Lime Pie are Pinkie Pies cousins. They are twin foals who are never far from each other. Whenever their mom calls them, she just yells "Key Lime Pie!"

Key's cutie mark is a key. He likes to play adventure games, read and solve puzzles. He wanted to make friends with Tinker, an inventor colt but Tinker was shy and not good at making friends. Twilight helped them to become friends when she encouraged Tinker to invent leg braces for Lime and Key was grateful because it meant they could race together.

Lime's cutie mark is a slice of key lime pie. He adores his cousin Pinkie and tries to be like her in every way. Pinkie is flattered but she thinks Lime needs to be his own pony and not just a copy of her.
