Ok... So a few days ago I was looking at some of the drawings I made in Drawing class, and I saw my first drawing of the sunflower. I didn't do that good at drawing it and it had many sharp looking pedals...Later in that same day I decided that I would turn that "mistake" into a character. And Thus Lillian was born.
As I was drawing a few different poses of Lillian I decided to draw a picture of her watching a bug fly above her (recreated in sprite above), then the idea of how her pedals got sharp came to mind...The Bug named Flug is her best friend and he is also the one that eats parts of her pedals to give them the sharp look...

I don't know why but I felt like I had to say how I came up with them...
