Backstory:
Kit
Sparrowkit was born outside the clans- his parents were unknown but proven to be clan cats, he was a quiet kit and didn't break any rules. A queen took care of him and his sister until he was old enough to eat prey and he quickly adapted to independence. He would often talk to a lot of warriors and apprentices who happened to pass the nursery about what it's like to be a warrior. He was eager to be an apprentice and would often practice battling with inanimate objects- he also loved sneak attacks because he felt safe in the shadows.
Apprentice
Sparrowpaw was given Tangletail as a mentor. His intelligence allowed him to learn quickly. His favourite thing about apprenticeship was learning to fight and sneak up on cats. He did quite well in his moons of training and never really stood out until he began to allow himself to attack more viciously when practising- he never used his claws or fangs against his mentor or other apprentices but fought rougher than he used to- proving himself to be a formidable opponent in battle.
Sparrowpaw formed an ally in Glasspaw after talking to him and taking his advice, he was no longer the soft pushover that he had once been- his kindness still remained but now hidden under an intimidating exterior. He had a friendly spar with Glasspaw, though they had their claws unsheathed as they wished to fight like "real warriors" though a cat soon spotted them and scolded them- Cinderdance. They told her to mind her own business and ordered her to get out of their sight. Infuriated, Cinderdance launched herself at Sparrowpaw, she left minor scratches though the apprentices decided that they would blame their wounds from sparring together on her, calling her dangerous and unstable.
One day during late apprenticeship he confronted his sister, Larkpaw as he often noticed her ditching her training with her mentor in order to "train herself" he scolded her, ordering her to remain in her lessons as she cannot teach herself new moves. Larkpaw then informed him that she had been training with a stray cat, furious and scared for his sister Sparrowpaw went straight back to camp, unable to tell the leader, Snowstar who also happened to be her mentor about the situation until a moon or so later as she had been incredibly busy. Snowstar offered to assess him and he passed with flying colours- his fighting assessment standing out the most.
Warrior
The day he became a warrior was the day he finally decided to follow his sister, he was furious to find Larkpaw being friendly with strays and in a fit of rage- attacked them, only to be pushed away by his own sister. His paws urged him to lash out at her but he couldn't, charging off only to be caught by a dog, his legs too sore to walk. Larkpaw begged the strays to help haul him back to camp and they reluctantly obliged, dragging him to Pigeonclan only to be thrown at the entrance.
Snowstar exiled Larkpaw, banishing her as she believed that the strays were home enough for a traitor like her- Sparrowstrike was broken, pushing Larkpaw away as if he had never had a sister in the first place.
