Description

Mages, warlocks, and reclusive witches have been known throughout the ages to take up homes in abandoned towers or old ruins, which the world is now abundant in ever since the giants marched. These places where alchemy fumes float through the air and old spells are recited by candle light are a throwback to guilds and schools from a more sophisticated time, but even then it was never sure what manner of creatures could be lurking in the magic-drenched halls. One of these creatures has even eluded the scholarly for generations, many unsure it exists or have forgotten its presence:the small, impish Temochy.

Temochy live in the in-between realm where wandering Fae and outcast beasts travel the unseen world. Using their ultra-powerful nose, a Temochy can find nearly anything it wants, regardless of premonitions or scrying. They use their ability leap and skitter to old and current homes for magic users and alchemists, eating any left out ingredients, gnawing on trinkets, and tearing up spell books. Temochy love the taste of magic and anything with echoes of the arcane are on the menu with the exception of people. The Temochy's curiosity and adventurous nature would normally be praised if it wasn't trying to eat a mage or witch out of their home. Their nose is sensitive to fragrant oils that can mask the scents they usually follow. Though skittish, if backed into a corner they are said to start sneezing and snorting out strange marbles to bludgeon their foe until they recoil, giving the Temochy enough time to escape back into the hidden realms.
