i'm really working on solidifying their designs and colors- specifically colors! i've been wanting to create a specific color pallet for myself to follow so my style has more of a specific vibe... ya know?? I see a lot of artists that have really cool styles and their colors are always really unique, i wanted to try that too! So I'm making things more colorful and becoming more liberal with what colors can exist in a character; like pink or purple eyes instead of brown. Even highlights of red or green in black hair and different shaped pupils.
It's really interesting and I'm trying to focus on not pushing it too far that it looks weird. I'd love to know your thoughts! especially when it comes to my poc characters; i know there's a fine line between what hues and saturations are and aren't ok in skintones but i have a hard time identifying them.

i really like how these came out, some more than others.... some less :I but! i'm glad i actually finished it cuz it was a wip for a hot second. it's especially difficult now that school has risen again ((( i was gonna show off how crow's hair takes on a feathery texture but i got really lazy woops. also i changed viola's hair from blonde to pink!!!! i figured that since i haven't solidified the story yet nothing is technically set in stone so I changed some designs up!
