i noticed that ever since PD kaito came out, and even APPEND len, this model has been shunned.
i love her, personally.
a lot of mmd users predicted this - whenever a new model comes out, the previous ones are forgotten.
it's kind of the same concept with a lot of real life issues.
ah, whatever.
i'm just one person, anyways.

models should look nice enough on their own, they don't need extra things to make them look better.
the thing that i really value in a model is the way they are made and the quality.
if there's a pretty model, but the physics suck, i think it's a bad model.
but if there's a kind of nasty model, and the physics & bones are amazing, i consider that the better model.

It's not just the model that MME is made to improve. It's used to improve the overall quality and impact of a picture/animation without the need for editing afterwards.

but animations are usually judged on the appearance.
i prefer to look at the effort put into an animation.
mme has made it easy for anyone to make a pretty picture.
but the ones that stand out are people who put effort into editing.

Yeah. What really irks me is when someone uses physics for poses even though it glitches horribly. If it looks good, there's nothing wrong with it, but when it's all glitchy, how can they take pride in uploading that?
