tumblr --> [link] blogspot --> [link] I felt like making myself rather sad, so I went ahead and did a quick sketch of the gang of Decembersville while listening to some good ole American Tail music by James Horner.
Decembersville in general makes me sad nowadays because it takes me back to a time when I wrote like mad (never mind how bad the writing was) and had so much fun showing off the adventure or socially communicating with folks around. c:
New design for Melloni. Gave him black circles over his eyes, black leathery lips like a dog, a gray nose, and made him less skinny - changed his outfit as well. Still screwed it up, though, because his jacket was supposed to be so long that it drags.

I absolutely love the new design for Melloni. He has such a cold and outspoken personality, but he can be a real softie sometimes. I think the new look suits that. It's pretty sweet gangster attire, but the changes in his facial features really work for him and his crazy awesome expressions, too. As always, I love love love seeing the rest of the gang as well. Such a touching scene. Great job.

Also your shading/coloring has always been amazing and I think the relative simplicity of the color scheme really adds to the feeling of nostalgia. I'm digging Mellon's new design too <3

Aw, this certainly brings out some Nostalgia!! It's great seeing this gang again after so long! I like Melloni's new design, I think it suits him more. All of their expressions and poses really brings out what each character's personality is like in a way too. If that makes any sense XD
This really made me smile, with a bittersweet sort of feeling inside. I know what it's like to look back at a story or a beginning of a story that was being written and thinking "Man, where'd the spark for that story/writing go?" But then again, you never know when that spark might strike again! Usually not in the exact same form it once was, but eventually it will surprise you!

Your art work is always something I look forward to seeing even without there being a story. ^.^ It's just one of those syles that even if the idea in the image is boring it's still exciting to see. To clarify though, there isn't really ever a picture of yours that I've seen where nothing interesting is happening.

Don't worry, Andi, you'll get back to writing at some point! I know how it feels to not be able to write all the time anymore; I've been there quite a while now. But keep your chin up and just have fun with what you can do right now. ^^ When you get time and inspiration again, everyone will be waiting to see what you come up with next--even the characters themselves. 
On a side note, Mellon's redesign looks awesome. ^^
