A copy from a Van Gogh drawing. It dates back from August 1993. The paper is kind of wrinkly.

I dedicated it to my mother (in broken spanglish, lol). Why did I pick such a sad subject, I have no idea! But I think it had to do with the fact that I liked to draw human figures, more than anything else. I'm still interested in them... is there a more interesting subject? I doubt it.

I'm pretty sure when I did this I wasn't sad at all... I probably didn't even understand the sadness it expressed. After all, I was just happy in my little world.
