“Even the forces that govern the dark realm will make use of a personal division of loyalists. One of these beasts are their trepidating Heralds of Sin.Resilient warrior with a unique nature among their Demon brethren. The herald of Sin is actually a colony of smaller, serpentine Demons acting together to possess a hollow frame. When threatened or requiring additional power, the herald will tear it’s own body apart, dividing the slithering mass in two.
The two writhing clusters of Serpents will immediately begin to rapidly build new weapons and armour from the members that were destroyed when riven, making the Heralds a demon with a twisted ability to self reproduce.
Most of them remain within the Bowels of Hell to guard their apex masters, while others have migrated to follow particular Demon Lords in need of additional members for their personal hordes.
Know that if you ever come across a herald, there is never only one. A single Herald can become an entire pack within minutes.”
