Decided to redraw my old drawing that I've never uploaded here for some reason, but I mean, deviantart is not my main social media anymore so that's only logical. But I want to keep uploading my arts here sooo here we go.

The old art was made a year ago. I've decided to change some of the things. The most important detail is that Rowan now has a different outfit here and it's the same outfit that he wore in episode "The Kyber Saber Crystal Chase". So the reason he's wearing it here is that when I was drawing the first version a year ago, it made me think of some sort of AU where Naare would force Rowan to the Dark Side and try to keep him there against his will. And some time after uploading this drawing I actually started writing short fanfiction with this idea! And I did write it!

Tho if anyone is interested, I'm just saying that this is my first fanfiction and I don't think it's written that good. Some people commented that it is writted well, but I think I would write it much better now. Well, I'm still writing some stories and they're better I think!

I dunno. I just really like exploring Rowan and Naare's dynamic, because I feel like it's extremely interesting. I think it's totally canon that Naare, even tho she was lying about who she is, actually was fond of Rowan and did enjoy training him. She certainly wanted him as her apprentice on the Dark Side. But the most interesting thing is that even after Naare's mask finally dropped and Rowan was fighting against her, Naare often looked pleased with his progress. Like, he was obviously determined to kick her butt and there she was commenting to herself things like "Huh, Rowan's force skills are improving" with a casual smile on her face. I don't know. I really like thinking that she was seeing him as her apprentice to the very end. Also I think I need to make post about it on my tumblr, with pictures and such. Because why not!
