Description Greetings to you lads and lasses! I am indeed a Vampire, a creature of the night. Not quite Gary Oldman or that Cullen lad, but we can't expect them poor sauds to measure up to my good looks now, can we?

I think this is quite an interesting piece; the colorful and simple design quite reminds me old platformers, particularly Commander Keen. I think you've got an interesting style going with the watercolors and visible texture of the paper. It makes for an interesting piece to look at. At the same time I have to say it quite boggles my mind a bit. It's definitely unorthodox, but doesn't look like a regular vampire; less so Nosferatu. Then again, probably the intention of the title, especially combined with the description. To me the creature seems more Eldritch in nature, even if more cartoony. Also some questions about the two pairs of eyes; there's a different eye-shape and eye-color to each, so would these be two separate entities fused together somehow or are they a singular creature with just a different eye as its third eye?

Anyway, on to the actual artwork, I like the general design of the creature, but the blue mouth clashes quite harshly with the rest of the design, since it's so saturated. The red of the creature is also very similar to the blood in the mouth, which I think takes away from the impact of the blood. The vampire fangs in the mouth seem a bit crooked and misplaced; in an actual mouth they would be straighter and farther apart. It almost looks like one of the fangs sprouts from the middle of the upper lip of the mouth. Also the creatures left foot seems weirdly place in perspective. The right foot looks really well, but it feels like you were a bit lost with the other foot.

In general there are some weird contradictions in this image; which may have been intentional, but I feel like they don't work together really well. The simplicity of the design clashes a bit with the texture of the paper and the roughness of the lines; the red/yellow pattern clashes with the blue mouth, the cartoony and simple design of the creature clashes with the horror-inspired intent of your image. It makes for an interesting look and something to think about, but I'm not sure it works for me in the end.

Still I think you made a very interesting design and it obviously shows off your creativity. It's a bit difficult to critique something you don't quite understand; it makes it difficult to understand the artist's intentions and to estimate what was done intentionally and what was a mistake. I hope my comment held some useful information/feedback for you though. Definitely keep up doing what you do; there's a lot of creativity here and it's very interesting to see what you can come up with next time!

That looks nothing like Nosferatu. Have you seen the movie, or watched the SpongeBob episode?

Rock that confidence little dude! Vampires come in many descriptions, and I kinda like this one. Vaguely minds me of something, but I cant quite recall it...
