Phil serves as the town’s messenger, and while he does a good job, it definitely takes a toll on his sanity. Despite being a hippogriff, he can’t fly (mostly due to the giant backpack filled with letters and packages he carries on his back), and he was bullied about it when he was young, with nicknames such as: “Dumb Chickenhorse”.
