A quick reference of the territories for my comic. They all have their troubles with familiar threats, like foxes, badgers, etc.
Stone Clan is in the north-west, in a very hilly/rocky area. Their camp is nestled into a cliff face, far out of the way of any twolegs or other cats. They mainly eat lizards, though occasionally head into the more forested parts to catch rodents and birds.
Stream Clan is in the south-west, on a large field with a few lakes and rivers. Its very close to 'Monster Place' (a car park), and has a lot of twoleg activity, so these cats are usually more active at night to avoid interaction. They hunt mostly rodents but also fish from the river.
Thorn Clan is to the north-east and is an area of dense forest with lots of undergrowth. They claim to be closest to Star Clan as they can easily reach/see both the Moon Cave and The Place of Fallen Branches from their camp, and are very proud of this. They eat a lot of rodents and birds, but often have trouble with badgers.
Birch Clan is to the south-west, with very tight borders with Stream Clan and Thorn Clan. Most of their territory is forest, with a few clearings scattered around. They large areas free of undergrowth, so have become adept at running fast and dodging tightly between trees. Their preferred diet is rabbits, but will hunt for other rodents, birds and - in difficult times - fish.
The Place of Fallen Branches is a sinkhole in a hill that is sheltered by large trees, some of which have fallen into the hole and formed a crisscross of trunks. The clans gather here on a Full Moon.
The Moon Cave is where medicine cats and their apprentices go to speak with Star Clan, and Leaders go to receive their nine lives. It is a cave full of mushrooms with crystals in the ceiling - the mushrooms are bio-luminescent, and make the crystals sparkle like stars. (It may just be that the spores from the mushrooms are causing the cats to 'dream'... not sure yet lol)
